Michelle Winter runs a busy Edinburgh practice teaching The Thrive Programme in a central location. The practice is not only accessible to the City of Edinburgh, but further afield such as the Lothians and Fife due to good transport connections. Michelle also runs a Skype service for clients out with the local area.

Michelle brings with her a wealth of experience to work as a Thrive Programme Consultant. She successfully helps people with anxiety and stress related problems, depression, bipolar affective disorder, borderline personality disorder, fear of flying, weight loss, stopping smoking, fears and phobias, with excellent results.

Symptoms You Can Overcome

Help to overcome common psychological symptoms with The Thrive Programme

People tend to go through The Thrive Programme for one of two reasons:

They want to learn how to thrive
They have some problems or symptoms they want to get over AND they want to learn how to thrive.
If you are in the second group, then you probably don’t think you have many choices and believe you’re stuck with your current symptoms, worries, illness, lack of success, or just your life in general. Like most people, you probably feel as though you are powerless to change your situation. There is plenty of research that shows this is exactly what the majority of people who are phobic, anxious, depressed, over-weight, stressed or ill believe (for example, Abrahamsson et al., 2002; Edwards et al., 2007; Walters and Charles, 1997; and Seaman and Lewis, 1995). However, although you – and millions of other people like you – believe this, you are actually wrong in your assumptions. You actually DO have the power to change your situation and to thrive: you have just never been given the skills to do so.
